Day 0 — Enroll & set up the device

Set up the patient on the device (a smart cap or organizer) and provide education. Bill setup once under CPT 98975.

Ongoing — Capture adherence data automatically

Devices transmit opening events. Generate 16 days of adherence data in a 30-day period in order to be eligible for CPT 98976, 98977, or 98978.

Ongoing — Monitor & intervene

Clinicians review data in the portal and reach out when adherence slips, logging time and patient communications.
